Adyashanti & Mary Allen

If you want to know something, go elsewhere.
If you want to un-know everything, then sit and listen.
* Are you on a path of spiritual awakening?
* Would you like to make a quantum leap in your level of consciousness?
* Are you a seeker of freedom and peace?
* Are you intrigued with the pursuit of enlightenment and the possibility of liberation?
Note from Life Coach Mary:
I’m deeply honored to give you the opportunity to listen to this extraordinary author, teacher and human being. A few weeks ago, I walked into a local Satsang hosted by Adyashanti. That day had been more turbulent than most, as I felt the affects of hormones raging in my body. Moments after we were seated, Adyashanti came to the front of the room, and we began 20 minutes of silent meditation. Almost instantaneously, every cell of my being aligned with pure peacefulness and warmth.
To describe Adyashanti and the impact of his presence and message only dilutes the personal experience.
I invite you to treat yourself to an hour taking in Adyashanti’s words, energy vibration, consciousness and wisdom. If you’re like many, your body, mind and spirit will be affected in profound ways.
During this interview we’ll explore:
* The “five truths” about truth.
* How meditation plays a role in awakening.
* What enlightenment is and is not.
* How those who’ve awakened can integrate their experience.
* What gets in the way of profound peace.
Adyashanti’s non-dual teachings have been compared to those of the early Zen masters and Advaita Vedanta sages. Expressing both the infinite possibilities and the ordinary simplicity of a spiritually realized life, Adyashanti’s teachings are directed to those who are sincerely called to awaken to their true nature and embody this life-changing realization.
“True freedom comes when every speck of the known collapse into the unknown,
not just for a moment, but continually.”
After a series of transformative spiritual awakenings, Adyashanti (which means “Primordial Peace”) began teaching in 1996, at the request of his Zen teacher with whom he had been studying for 14 years. Adya’s teachings have been compared to some of the early chan (zen) masters of China as well as teachers of Advaita Vedanta in India.
Adyashanti dares all seekers of peace and freedom to take the possibility of liberation in this life seriously. Since then many spiritual seekers have awakened to their true nature while spending time with Adyashanti. The author of Emptiness Dancing, The Impact of Awakening, and My Secret is Silence, Adyashanti offers spontaneous and direct non-dual teachings. However, Adya says, “If you filter my words through any tradition or ‘-ism’, you will miss altogether what I am saying. The liberating truth is not static; it is alive. It cannot be put into concepts and be understood by the mind. The truth lies beyond all forms of conceptual fundamentalism. What you are is the beyond-awake and present, here and now already. I am simply helping you to realize that.”A native of Northern California, Adyashanti lives with his wife, Mukti, and teaches extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area offering satsangs, weekend intensives, and silent retreats. He also travels to teach in other areas of the United States and Canada.
