A Magic Moment with FEAR Peter Rengel, a rather Enlightened Father, was spending time in his hot tub with his 3 year old son Kavi just as the sun was setting. As it got dark, Kavi said, "Daddy, Daddy I'm afraid". At first Peter wondered whether to give him a logical explanation about darkness, but that didn't feel right. Then he realized acceptance was the key.
Peter then responded, "That's okay, just say.....'Hello Fear'". So Kavi, with big eyes said, "Hello Fear".
Several minutes later, Kavi said "Daddy, Daddy, I'm not afraid anymore". Peter responded calmly by saying, "Then just say...''Goodbye Fear'". And Kavi did.
Several nights later, Peter was again spending time with Kavi in the hot tub at sunset. As it got dark, out of the blue, his little 3 year old calmly said, "Hello Fear". A few minutes passed without a word, and all of a sudden he said, "Goodbye Fear".
Kavi caught onto this simple approach to fear rather quickly. A beautiful way of embracing and releasing fear. Hmmmm. The wisdom of a 3 year old revealed.
Imagine your saying to yourself: "Hello Fear......Goodbye fear," "Hello anger......Goodbye anger," "Hello judgment....goodbye judgment," "Hello insecurity.....goodbye insecurity" May you enjoy all of your human qualities.

| Tip #2 - Creating RESULTS and Enjoying "The Body For Life Challenge" or ANY Health & Fitness Program.
You DECIDED to "get fit", tone up, build mass, lose weight or otherwise reshape your body. Congratulations!! Here's the NEXT STEP. TIP #2: Define 5 Reasons WHY.WHY do you want to lose weight or get fit? Perhaps the answer seems obvious. When we first set out to achieve any goal there is often a lot of emotional energy behind it. At least initially. However, if we don't get "conscious" about what's REALLY driving us and WHY we REALLY want to achieve something, when the process becomes challenging it can often be enough to throw us off course, and fail
WRITE IT DOWN...
This step is KEY. Write down 5 Reasons Why you are COMMITTED to achieving your Fitness Goals (or any other goal). These are the emotional reasons for going the distance, especially when you may feel like pooping out in the middle. What's the PURPOSE for committing to your goal?? What will it give you emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually? What will inspire you enough to take action when you don't feel like working out at 11pm, when you don't want to get up in the morning, or chocolate cake sounds more appealing than Chocolate Fudge Protein Bar? Examples: 1. Following through on this program will prove to myself that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I can do anything for 90 Days. 2. I take pride in my body, and I deserve to look and feel my best. I feel better about myself when I'm lighter and leaner. I love myself. 3. It's important to me to be a role model for my children. How I take care of my body teaches my children more than my words. 4. I love life, and I want to enjoy it fully. I need and want the energy to do anything I desire. The better I take care of myself, the longer I'll live. 5. I love my partner, and want to give him/her a body that will make them melt. I'm doing this for me, and the person I love. If you're like most people, during any 90 day program there will be times when you simply don't feel like following through. You'll be tested. This is the time to pull out "Your 5 Reasons WHY" on paper to remind yourself WHY you started the program in the first place. If left to your head to remember, you may not find many (or any) compelling reasons to continue. Especially if you're in a state of "wanting to give up". Don't leave your success to chance. Build up your "back-up" fuel that can give you the emotional boost you need to achieve your goal.
